The Education Forum is dedicated to dialogue and action on emerging issues in education. The forum is hosted by the Pragati Foundation, a non-profit company established in June 2008 (Company reg no, ) with the mission of building knowledge capacity for social progress. Forum coordinator is Sujata Gamage. She has put together some material to initiate the dialogue. Where will the dialogue lead? An expanding network of individuals who care about education is the most important output. Small demonstration projects are possible. New ideas that emerge can certainly be expanded as concept papers or expressed lucidly and shared widely through the appropriate media. If the participants are committed, and the ideas are inspiring, sponsorships should not be hard to find. Self-sustainability is a real possibility. It all depends on the interest of the participants.
